How It Works

Fast-Font uses the OpenType "contextual alternates" feature to automatically bold the beginning of each word at the font level — no extension needed!

Just install the font, select it in your app, and enable
Contextual Alternates in settings.

Installation Guides

📄Microsoft Word

Windows

  1. 1.Run install.bat from the pack
  2. 2.Open Word, select text, choose "Fast Serif"
  3. 3.Format → Font → Advanced → Enable "Use Contextual Alternates"

macOS

  1. 1.Double-click install.command
  2. 2.Open Word, select text, choose Fast font
  3. 3.Format → Font → Advanced → Enable "Contextual Alternates"

📱Amazon Kindle

  1. 1.Connect Kindle via USB
  2. 2.Copy .ttf files to "fonts" folder
  3. 3.Open book → Aa → Font → Select "Fast Serif"

📖Kobo / KOReader

  1. 1.Connect Kobo to computer
  2. 2.Copy fonts to "fonts" folder on device
  3. 3.Select font in book settings

How to Download

The Fast-Font Pack is included in the Half Bold extension. Open the Side Panel, go to "Fast-Font Pack", and click "Download Fonts".
